Class Descriptions
CARDIO DANCE
Get a great calorie burning, high energy cardiovascular workout and build your coordination/balance by dancing new moves to fun, contemporary music. This class consists of low to moderate impact dance-aerobics moves that utilize both sides of the body. You will get your heart pumping, build your endurance and confidence, and have a blast doing it!
core & more
This class focuses entirely on building core strength. You will get your heart rate going, but it is your core that will experience the effect of this class through a use of a variety of fitness tools. Please bring a mat.
gentle yoga
Designed for the active mature adult, this class is an introduction to a variety of basic yoga poses. You will learn to coordinate your breath along with your body's movement, as well as become familiar with the importance of body alignment. This class will increase your flexibility, enhance your balance and create overall body strength and stability. Gentle Yoga classes are performed with a chair.

muscle magic
This class is designed for the mature adult or the participant that is on the road to reclaiming their fitness. Performed in a chair, this workout utilizes full range of motion exercises for joint health and balance. Low pound free weights, resistance bands, and balls are used to build muscular strength and coordination.
Stretch & Restore
This class focuses on stretching exercises with an emphasis on restoration. The program aims to enhance flexibility, relieve tension, and promote relaxation through a series of seated stretching routines. Stretch & Restore classes are performed with a chair.
tai chi
This ancient Chinese tradition involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. It is a self-paced exercise combining gentle physical exercise and stretching. Tai Chi is commonly used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions and is often described as meditation in motion.
tAI JI
A gentle Chinese practice that improves balance, flexibility, and relaxation through flowing movements.
total body barre
An exercise program designed to lengthen muscles while strengthening them. This Ballet influenced class uses mindful exercises to condition the entire body. Please bring a mat.
yoga
This class combines fitness moves such as pushups, sit ups and squats with traditional yoga poses and links them together in a flowing format. With regular yoga practice, you will increase your flexibility, stability, balance and breathing control.
Warrior Strength
WARRIOR Strength™ is a dynamic format including cardio and strength training, energizing playlists, and a functional fitness focus. WARRIOR Strength includes super fun and original formulas that make time fly by. Sweat, feel the burn, and enjoy an endorphin rush like no other while working on your heart health!
Zumba
Forget the workout, just lose yourself into shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high energy Latin and international music. Zumba moves are easy to do, effective at burning calories and totally exhilarating.

Accountability - Find a workout partner! This is a great way to keep yourself accountable for your workouts. If you have a workout partner, there's a good chance you won't skip it. Another idea is to pencil it in on your calendar.
Motivation - It doesn't get much more empowering than a class with an encouraging instructor and supportive people all working hard together. Group fitness is a great way to help motivate yourself and others to dig deeper and push harder in workouts.
Proper Form - It's the fitness instructor's job to not only show proper form, but to also make sure that everyone in the class is executing each exercise the right way. Not only is proper form important for your muscles to reap the most out of every exercise, but it also helps eliminate potential injuries.
